He was predeceased by: his mother Lexie Scruggs; his brother Rev. Jeffrey Scruggs; his sister-in-law Tracy Scruggs; his sister Rhonda Scruggs; his uncle Eugene Scruggs; his aunts, Imogene Looney, Elizabeth Harris, Jessie Suber and Mamie Sneed; and his nephew Alvin Parks.
He is survived by: his sister Shelia Scruggs (Anthony McMahan) of Cleveland, TN.; his daughters, Andrea Johnson of Athens, TN. and Lexis Scruggs of Athens, TN.; and his aunts and uncles, Virginia Wynn of Knoxville, TN., Vyetta Moore (Bill) of Knoxville, TN., Judy Prigmore of Cleveland, TN., Larry Moore of Knoxville, TN. and James Moore of Ohio. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
