With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Scoggins Taylor of Cleveland, Tennessee, born in McDonald, Tennessee, who passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nannie Ramsey Scoggins and Everett Scoggins; and her sisters, Ida Scoggins and Maggie (Wiley Gaston). She is survived by : her husband Perry Taylor; her grandchildren, Wes Harden, Jean Tinsley, Mary Lee, Lester Mathews, Verlia Kate, W. C. "Menner" Mathews, Clyde, Edith Scoggins, Martha, Joe Jones, Nellie, Junior Neeley, Katherine, James Clingan, Margaret, Tom Holder, Frances, Frank Brady and Paula Ledford; her daughter Jo Ann Hawkins; and her brother-in-law James "Bud" Tinsley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel (2603 N Ocoee St, Cleveland, TN 37312). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
