He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Sutton Odom; his parents, Frank Odom and Ollie Gordon Odom; and his siblings, Rozelle Goins, Mildred Elmore, Jessie Lynn Silvers and J. R. Filyaw.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Odom and Rodney Odom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
