He is survived by: his wife Roberta Lindsey Smith; and his children, Joel Smith (Katrina) of Knoxville, TN, Brenda Childs (James) of Monroe, OH and Midori Hendrix (Alan) of Groveport, OH. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
