She was predeceased by: her husband David Leon Edwards; her parents, Charles Jordan Stewart and Della Mae Carter Stewart; her siblings, Gladys Stewart Keaton, Lowell Stewart and C. J. Stewart; and her grandson Steven Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Miller of Spring City, Debbie (Benny Hoge), Rita Edwards of East Ridge, William Edwards (Ben) of Cleveland and Jeanie (Stevie Wright); her grandchildren, Laura Ramasamy, Jeremy Kanipes, Benjamin Hoge, Jr., Zachary Miller, Ashley Sovastion, Mollie Childs, David Denton, Eli Wright, Michael Darity, Ashanti Darity and Summer Wright; and her brothers, James Stewart of Oregon and Edwin Stewart of Greenville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
