She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herbert Ewing and Lady Mae Brice. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Mize; her children, Leroy, Herbie, Raymond Jr., Stella and Melissa Ewing; her granddaughter Britnie Davis; her sisters, Retha M. Beal and Betty Tipton; and her close friends, Knorval and Willie Mae. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren including her longtime caregiver.
