He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy R. Phillips and Patricia A. Green Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Skinner Phillips; his daughters, Amanda Phillips Trew (Kevin) of Cleveland and Whitney Phillips Russell (David) of Abilene, Texas; his grandchildren, Tennyson, Annelise, Huxley, Emerson Russell, Addisyn and Ashtyn Trew; and his siblings, Greg G. Phillips and Tracy A. Phillips Caldwell (Jeff).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial.
