He was predeceased by: his parents, Echol Ellis and Emma Bell Lane Calhoun; his wife Margaret Ann Calhoun; his siblings, Edgar Calhoun and Edith Hayter; and his brothers-in-law, Don Latture and Jeff Hammer.
He is survived by: his son Kelly; his daughter-in-law Tanya Calhoun; his grandsons, Harrison and Matthew Calhoun; his siblings, Glen Calhoun (Kay) and Betty; his siblings-in-law, Roy Hayter, Billie Calhoun and Billie Sue Hammer; and his close friends, Alvin and Diane Taylor.
