He is survived by: his wife Cathy Oliver Barbee; his children, Kimberly Richie (Josh), Shannon Barbee (Cortney), Kathy Brannan (Rob) and Steven Barbee (Belinda); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Richie, Abigail Richie, Jared Barbee, Lincoln Barbee, Robby Brannan, Abram Barbee, Emily Riegle and Alex Riegle; his sisters, Janet Smith and Robin Wood (Jim); his aunt Faye Hickle; and his close friends, Roger Byrd and Ralph Parton.
