She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Minchey and Abbie Minchey; her husband Roy Harding Wood; her son Douglas Eugene Wood (Donna); and her siblings, L. T. Minchey (Alice) and Betty Daniel (Harvey).

She is survived by : her daughters, Carolyn Sue Wood Sadler (Harlin) and Vickie Renae Wood Trebing (Jimmy); her siblings, Bonnie Jean Minchey Bennett (Gray), Hoyte Gordon Minchey (Gayle) and James Wally Minchey (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Michelle Sadler Mobley (Brian), Douglas Eugene Wood, Jr. (Karen), Earl Harlin Sadler, III, Troy Darryl Wood (Laurie), Christopher Bryan Sadler (Susan), Wendie Wood Bean (Brian), Ashleigh Sadler Sharp (Brent), La'Tisha Watts, Lance Brandon Wood, Tara Wood Janecki (Mike) and Misty Dawn Trebing; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Elise Mobley, Brennon Reid Mobley (Lilly), Douglas Garrett Wood, Graham Wood, Madison Cameron Wood, McKenna Casey Wood, Spencer Troy Wood, Christopher Coleman Sadler, Caroline Charlet Sadler, Clayton Samuel Sadler, Nathaniel Boone Sadler, Matthew Brandon Park, Zachary Neal Park, Nicholas William Park, Gabriella Wood Park, Carson Alexander Sharp (Ashley), Chandler Alexanndra Sharp and Keelan Renae Watts. She is also survived by seven children, she was a natural born caregiver.
