He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank "Babe" Williams and Ethel Short Williams; his former life partner Betty Marie Barnett Williams; his daughter Teresa Porter; and his siblings, Jerry Williams, Edith Baxter and Doris Smithson.

He is survived by : his girlfriend Sarah Newell; his brother Hollis Williams (Nancy); his grandchildren, Dean Carroll (Robin), Melisa Aranda (Ish) and Nicole Luu (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Kayla White, Valencia Luu, Carolina Aranada, Michael Carroll (Kelsey), Tristan Carroll (Ashleigh), Koda Luu and Caspian Luu; his great great grandchildren, Brayden, Kayleigh White and Talmadge Carroll; and his son-in-law David Porter. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews and family members.
