She was predeceased by : her parents, John Will and Allie Elizabeth Beard Ivery; her husband Sam Pleas Skinner, Sr.; her son-in-law Roy Mac Covington; her granddaughter Abigail Lorraine Covington; and her siblings, Wilma Howerton, Walter Smithson and Tony Ivery.
She is survived by : her children, Pleas "Junebug" Skinner, Jr. (Jamie Marie) and Teresa Lynn Skinner Covington of Springfield, TN; her sister Connie Ivery Alloway (William) of College Grove, TN; her grandchildren, Roy Travis Covington (Amanda), Jackson Pleas Covington (Kaitlin), William Randy Cathey (Kim), J. C. Knox (Madylin) and Elisha McDonald; and her great grandchildren, Layla Belle Covington, Taylor Cathey (Lauren), Jackson Knox, Evan McDonald, Kelsey McDonald and Kenzie Witt (Lee).
