She was predeceased by : her parents, Tommy Gerber and Mabel Gerber; and her daughter Margaret Tate. She is survived by : her children, Susan Nielsen of Collegedale, TN, Tim Ward of Raleigh, NC and Mary Clark. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Apison Seventh-day Adventist, Lester Coon Adventist School or The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 257 Collegedale.
