Though Thelma Laverne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Weeks Thweatt and Evie Naomi Flake Thweatt; and her brother William Edward "Buddy" Thweatt. She is survived by: her siblings, Earnestine Rhama (Larry), Phillis Rothammer, Deborah Fowler (Jackie), Jimmy D Thweatt (Ellen) and Tony Mac Thweatt; and her husband James "Jimmy" Autry.
