He was predeceased by: his parents, Wheeler Thomas and Mattie Howard Allen; and his brothers, Horace and Billy Allen. He is survived by: his wife Getella Ann Allen; his children, Sara Allen Wiles (Greg) and Rex T. Allen; his siblings, Shirley Hurst and Carthel Allen; his grandchildren, Caitlin Wiles, Taylor Wiles, Allison Wiles, Dalton Allen (Megan) and Rachel Allen; and his great grandchild Wynn Allen.
