It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Blair Delk Jr. (Columbia, Tennessee), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Blair Delk, Sr. and Hortense Whiteside Delk; his brother Wayne Delk; and his brother-in-law Jim Husband. He is survived by : his wife Mary Carolyn Fraser Delk of Columbia; his children, Sherrie Farris (Steve) of Columbia and Mark Delk (Rhonda) of Columbia; his siblings, Barbara Husband of Seymour, TN, Patricia Rodgers (Glen) of Hendersonville, TN and Harold Delk (Carolyn) of Spring Hill; his sister-in-law Charlotte Delk of Hermitage; his grandsons, Ben Farris (Rebecca) of Columbia and Brent Farris (Emily) of Old Hickory, TN; his great grandchildren, Linley Farris, Eden Farris, Jude Farris, Lillian Farris and Nolan Farris; and his uncle Cecil Whiteside (Letha Lou) of Hampshire. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
