He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe M. Huckaby, Sr. and Eula Ring Huckaby; his son Joe Stanley Huckaby; his grandson Conner Marshall Huckaby; and his granddaughter-in-law Sarah-Jane Shields Bedwell.
He is survived by: his sister Juanita Hie of Columbia, TN.; his wife Irene Johnson Huckaby; his daughters, Judith Everett (Wayne) of Columbia, TN and Connie Bedwell (Joe) of Columbia, TN; his daughter-in-law Jane Huckaby of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Nathan McAdams (Lena), Mackenzie Green (Ashby), Joe M. Bedwell (Julia Nicholson), Adam Bedwell (Tyler), Carrie McCullough (Drew), David Huckaby, Mary Fields (David), Brad Everett (Kim) and Brian Everett (Laura). He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
