He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Bennett and Bulah Prutt Bennett; and his siblings, Lester Bennett, Chester Bennett, Elden Bennett and Christine Poe.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Gibson Bennett; his sister Pauline Watson (Doris); and his sister-in-law Kay Howell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
