With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Sherwood Wilson Jr. in Columbia, Tennessee, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Sherwood Wilson Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William S. Wilson and Dorothy Dunkin Wilson; his daughter Wendi Dawn Wilson; and his siblings, Mary Hellen Woody, Nancy Mitchell, Sherry Walker and Tommy Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Glenda Mabry Wilson; his children, Derek Wilson (English) and Jessica Bolton (Jason); his sister Virginia Jones; and his grandchildren, Josh Bolton (Heather), Kristia Bravo, Jared Bolton, Kaelyn Watters (Matt), Karina Bravo, Abbey Whatley (Tate), Chandler Parker, Jace Bolton and Joey Bolton. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Porters Chapel United Methodist Church.
