We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Delma Darlene Foster of Cookeville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Henson and Sadie McCoy Henson (late James Foster); her siblings, Sonny, Jonzo, Leon, Glen, Howard, Nathalle and Nellie; and her children, Tony Bryant Prather, Howard Leon Prather and Pamela Prather.
She is survived by: her siblings, Oletta Henson and Mearl Henson; her sister-in-law Barbara Campbell; and her daughters, Joyce Sopko, Patricia Koster (Eric) and Laurie Merriweather (DeShawn). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crest Lawn Funeral Home (800 W Jackson St, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
