She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey H. Brotherton and Bertha Phy Brotherton; her husband John Nichols; her son Kelvin T. Nichols; and her siblings, Devonia McGee and Ray Douglas Brotherton.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Rauch (Frank) of Wyandotte and Bruce Dale Nichols (Patti) of Southgate, Michigan.; her grandchildren, Abigail Graves (Adam) of Edina, Allison Birmingham (Nick), Anna Stanko (Mark) of Grosse Ile, Chad Nichols of Lincoln Park and Jace Nichols of Sterling Hgts, Michigan.; her great grandchildren, Averie, Ainsley, Archie Graves, Leighton, Trey, Kemp Birmingham, Presley Ann Stanko, Addison Nichols and Evelyn Nichols; and her siblings, Robbie Wilmoth and Robert Brotherton of Cookeville, TN..
