He was predeceased by : his parents, Avert Lynn and Vida Phillips Lynn; and his siblings, Evelyn Barlow, Grace Robbins, Charlie Lynn and Ray Lynn.

He is survived by : his children, Ricky Lynn (Rhonda) of Cookeville, TN and Patty Scott (Richard) of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Rachael Lynn, Rylee Lynn and Samuel Scott; and his siblings, James Lynn, Daina Lynn, Kenneth Lynn, Pauline Goolsby, Sue Buell, Betty Grissom and Wanda Smith.
