It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jewell Elizabeth McCaleb (Cookeville, Tennessee), who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskell Flatt and Beulah Lambert Flatt; and her siblings, Harold, Kenneth Flatt and Emogene Birdwell.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lee McCaleb; her son Marcus McCaleb of Crossville, TN; her sister Joyce Pippin of Bloomington Springs, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Flatt and Juanita Flatt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dyer Chapel (798 S Willow Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Sam Flatt Cemetery in Jackson County.
