He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence Tays Sr., Gladys Neal Tays Hall of Monterey, Lando and Ruby Stafford of Sparta. He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Tays Jr. and Charlotte Stafford Tays of Cookeville; his wife Michelle Nicole Montserrat Tays; his sons, Ezra Timothy Tays and Anson Clarence Tays; his parents-in-law, Eduardo Montserrat (Karelia Ruiz) of Miami, FL and Monica Solano of Cookeville; his brother Sam Tays (Beth) of Cookeville; his brothers-in-law, Alan Monsterrat and Eddie Monsterrat of Miami; and his cousins, Greg Hutson (Donna) of Sparta and Elizabeth Dodson of Sparta. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
