It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Burgess of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Nathan Burgess; and his brother Don Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gaw Burgess; his daughters, Rhonda Owens (Bryant) of Cookeville, Tammy Werner (Mark) of Chattanooga and Kelli Preast (Tim) of Chattanooga; and his grandchildren, Abigail Palmer (Giffin), Emilie Werner, Ellie Werner, Jonathan Werner, Kaitlin Preast, Josiah Guiles and Logan Owens.

Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to Mustard Seed Ranch, 4955 Kuykendall Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501.
