She was predeceased by : her parents, Encle Stafford and Mattie Cantrell Stafford; and her husband Charles Boatman. She is survived by : her children, David Boatman of Monterey, Beverly Whitson of Silver Point and Vicki Boatman of Louisiana; and her sister Edna Cox of Ohio. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
