In loving memory of Miriam Beatrice Shores of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on April 25, 2024 at the age of 99. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Miriam leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fredrick Manak and Antoinette Manak (Jursa); and her son Ron Shores. She is survived by : her husband Roy Shores; and her daughter Kathi Lock.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Thomas Catholic Church (421 N Washington Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations may be made to the church building fund in lieu of flowers.
