She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delbert W Heffelfinger and Sara Elizabeth Heffelfinger; her children, Mark Lavallee of Hollywood, FL and Caroline Oncken of Texas; her granddaughters, Lynnea Anderson and Sarah Oncken; and her siblings, Del Heffelfinger of Cookeville and Sidney Dickerson of Warrenton, VA.. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
