In loving memory of William Riley Love Sr. of Cookeville, Tennessee, who departed this world on June 7, 2025 at the age of 69. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Love and Mildred Agnes Love (Morris); his daughter Kelly Nicole Love; and his sister Becky Gunnels (Peyton). He is survived by: his wife Roberta Shavonne Love (Irwin); his children, Amy Beth Finley (Chris) of Wexford, PA, William "Bill" Riley Love, Jr. (Lori) of Cookeville and Shavonne Lee Hutchings of Cookeville; his grandchildren, Christian Alexander Finley, Katherine Elizabeth Finley, Colson Lee Love and Carter Riley Love; his siblings, Tommy Love (Rose) and Sherry Hilton (Love); and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Irwin (Donna), James Mayberry (Wendy) and Aubrey Mayberry (Camile). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Funeral Home (800 W Jackson St, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department or the Cookeville Rescue Mission.
