With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixon Woodward Aldridge of Cordova, Tennessee, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Dixon Woodward Sr. and Mildred Aileen Faley Woodward; and her brother Andrew Dixon Woodward Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Walter T. Aldridge; her daughters, Shannon E. Aldridge, Smith (Tommy), Graison W. Aldridge and Gehring (Lance); and her grandchildren, W. Thomas Reynolds and Kathrine King (Austin).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodward Baptist Church at 1570 Ashford Road, Chester, SC, 29706.
