He was predeceased by: his parents, Elver Delton Wilkins and Lossie Rae Hays Wilkins; and his sister Ola Wilkins Turpin (Harry) of Parsons, Tennessee.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Douglas; his children, Deborah Wilkins Campbell of Cordova, Tennessee, Tammy Wilkins Foster (Michael) of Piperton, Tennessee and Billy Douglas Wilkins of Bartlett, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Victoria Foster Schrack (Jonathan), Alexandra "Allie" Nicole Foster and Levi Liam Wilkins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Central Church (2005 E Winchester Blvd, Collierville, TN 38017). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
