Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joie Burgess of Cornersville, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 95, on December 8, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jim Ingram and Sue Wilburn Ingram; her husband Thomas Newton Burgess; her children, Sharon Dockery and James Leslie Burgess; her brother Murray Ingram; and her son-in-law Robert Callaham.
She is survived by : her children, Gary Burgess (Janice) of Lynnville, Claudia Davis (Stanley) of Ardmore and Rhonda Woodward of Pulaski; her sister Faye Mitchell Miles; her sister-in-law Bettye Ruth Ingram; and her sons-in-law, R. E. Woodward III and Roger Dockery. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
