She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Richard and Ruby Olivia Miles; her sister B. F. Gourley (Elizabeth); her niece Jan Howard; and her husband Ira Melvin Royster.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Royster (May) and Olivia Dotson (James); her grandchildren, Christina Moore (Zack), Michael Royster (Faviola), Robert Parks (Marie) and Richard Parks; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Adler, Nathaniel, Jiada, Harlen, Angel and Ethan; and her sibling's children, Beverly Murphy, Larry Gourley and Paul Gourley (Gwen).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White House First United Methodist Church (3403 US-31W, White House, TN 37188). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White House Memorial Gardens (3639 US-31W, White House, TN 37188).
