With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Owen Jr. of Covington, Tennessee, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie C. Sr. Owen and Ruth Francis Owen; and his sons, Charlie C. Owen, III and James Alston Owen. He is survived by: his wife Ann Alston Owen; his son David Edward Owen (Missy) of Covington; and his grandchildren, Kristin Owen Watterson, Kerry Ann David Owen, James Alston Owen, Jr., Mary Drake Owen Tritt, Maggie Owen, Jack M. Owen and Meredith T. Owen. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be sent to the First Presbyterian Church or to the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.
