He is survived by: his wife Ellen Cole McKee; his son Terry McKee (Joanna) of Bartlett; his stepsons, Trent Hunter of Covington, Dwayne Hunter of Covington, Leslie Keith Smith of Covington and Jeffrey Kim Smith of Covington; and his brothers, Donald McKee of Southaven and Jimmy McKee of Lexington.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to the Liberty Baptist Church 2097 Holly Grove Road Covington, TN 38019.
