She was predeceased by: her husband W. C. Short; her parents, Roy Rone and Irene Marbry Rone; and her sister Doris Rone. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Short of Covington, Sherl Rose of Covington and Bubba Short of Covington; her sister Louise Brown (Bobby) of Covington; her grandchildren, April Blankenship (Doug), Robert Rose (Ashley), Hayden Short (Becky), Hunter Short (Adriana) and Hailey Short; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Rose, William Rose (WC), Cora Rose, Noelle Rose, George Blankenship, Esme Blankenship and Angus Blankenship.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Covington Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.).
