She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall Townsend; her son Michael Wilson Erwin; her half-siblings, Grady Bogue, Jr. and Beth Escue; and her siblings, Gladys Baskin, Sara Marie Bogue and Thurman Bogue.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Stacey Erwin of Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Jake and Asher Field; her sibling's children, Pam Bogue Goode of Memphis, Jenny Hanson of Memphis and Terry Bogue of Memphis; and her cousins, Stephen and Kaye Parr Billings Smith of Covington.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be sent to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
