He was predeceased by : his parents, Grover Cooper and Lillian Elzey Cooper. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Cooper; his children, Patty Channell (David) of Covington, Jodi Cooper of Chicago, David Cooper, Jr., Bentley Jackson-Eubanks of Covington, Felicia Jackson of Memphis and Holly Jackett of Covington; his grandchildren, Amanda Channell Ervin (Gary) of Covington, Wesley Channell of Memphis, Brittany Racky Jakowitsch (Kyle) of Chicago, Victoria Cooper Hancock (Wayne), Zachery Cooper, Cody Cooper, Caitlin Jackett and Lynnell Ransopher; and his brothers, J. W. Cooper of Atoka and H. C. Cooper of Covington. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
