He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Cross and Francis Byrd Cross; and his siblings, Matty Lou Hunt, Judy Tucker, Bo Hinson, Mary Etheridge, Billy Cross, Tex Cross, Troy Cross and Johnny Cross.

He is survived by : his wife Kerry Bailey Cross; his children, Nicholas Cross (Jessica) of Covington, Bubba Cross (Ashley) of Ripley and Tiffany "Lulu" Perry (Shannon) of Covington; and his siblings, Cindy Marvel (Johnny) of Ripley, Betty Jean Cross of Covington, Buck Cross of Covington and Walter "Cotton" Cross Jr. (Susan) of Brighton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
