She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Williams Matheny (Doc); her parents, Walter A. Rogers and Emma Rogers of Covington; and her siblings, Doris Ann Parkinson of Kingston, TN and Walter A. Rogers of Covington.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Glynn Allen (Chuck) of Kernersville, NC, Alice Ann Taylor (Bill) of Cottontown, TN and Harvey Williams Matheny (Molly) of Bartlett, TN.; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Allen (Katie), Sarah Williams, Cayce Taylor, Keri Taylor, Kellie Taylor, Harrison W. Matheny (Lauren), Anna Evans (Matthew) and Lamar Matheny. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Covington First United Methodist Church.
