With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard H. Mercer of Cowan, Tennessee, born in Maloy, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervin B. Mercer and Lola Judy Mercer (Rusco); his siblings, Goldie, Catherine, Ray, Raymond, R. C., Rexel, Junior and Marvin; and his granddaughter Brianne Wilbanks.

He is survived by : his wife Annette Mercer of Cowan; his sons, Wade Mercer (Deb) of Des Moines and Kevin Wilbanks of Huntsville, Alabama; his grandchildren, Lydia Gillespie (Andy) of Spring Hill, Wade Mercer Jr. (Sarah) of Des Moines and Connor Wilbanks of Huntsville, Alabama; his great grandchildren, Collin Schrimsher, Gabe Mercer, Austin Mercer, Serenity Mercer and Hudson Gillespie; and his brother Eugene Mercer (Joyce) of Gladbrook, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
