She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Andersen and Gladys Andersen (Cove); and her sister Ellen Andersen. She is survived by : her husband Thomas Furman; her sister Sarah Morrow of St. Stephen; and her children, Stefanie Furman of Florida, James Furman (Kimberly) of Florida, Bernadette Beckstead (Stacey) of Canada, Joanne Samson (Ed) of Canada, Joe Anderson (Tina) of Canada, Belinda Anderson (Rob McGregor) of Canada, William Anderson of Canada and Susan Boundford (Steve) of Gosport, England. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or any veteran's organization.
