He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Pillen and Joyce Pillen; his brother Bob Pillen; his sister-in-law Janet Baker; his parents-in-law, Harold and Lillian McKinzie; his brothers-in-law, Lester Vankuren and Tom Baker; and his niece Karen Winget.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Pillen of Crossville, TN; his children, Scott Pillen of Linden, MI, Mike Pillen (Robin) of Pulaski, TN and Tiffany Bray (Derek) of Burton, MI; and his grandchildren, Lesley Pillen, Autumn Messina (Anthony), Ryan Haar (Aaron), Tyler Pillen (Jen), Savannah Bray, Brooklyn Bray, Trey Shirey (Daisy), Ali Briggs (Dustin) and Carter Shirey. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
