She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Burnett and Nelle Young Burnett; her husband Jerry C. Brown; her siblings, Larry Burnett, Janet Thomas, Patricia Stubbs and Becky Richards; and her father-in-law Roy Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Brown, Tonya Brown, Tabitha Garrett (Greg) and Mark Garrett (Gina); her grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Kayla Palit (Shekhar), Tyler Kent (Kendra), Angel Witt (DJ), Payton Garrett, Aspyn Garrett and Jerren Garrett; her sisters, Debbie Netherton (Tom) and Nina Burnett; her mother-in-law Wilma Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Smith (Wayne), Charlotte Hennessee (Dale), Linda Brown, Boyd Brown (Naomi), Dennis Richards and Ronnie Thomas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
