He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Russell Henry and Tena Mabel Henry (Hawn); his siblings, Bernice Hamby, Jewell Proffitt, Mary Lou Brantley, Alva, Arlan, Junior Burton (JB) and James; his former wife Rebecca Hall; and his stepdaughter Valeria.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his grandson Steven Hall of Paducah, KY; his stepchildren, Alice Hale of Crossville, June Toth (Steve) of Nokesville, VA and Robert Gunn (Vicky) of Buchanan, MI; his stepgranddaughters, Jessica Kesterke, Lauren Toth, Allyson Toth and Sarah Preston; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, JJ Kesterke and Autumn Preston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lantana Road Baptist Church (3270 Lantana Rd, Crossville, TN 38572). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested for Lantana Road Baptist Church or Hospice of Cumberland County.
