It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Fulton Rye of Cumberland City, Tennessee, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery "Peewee" Rye and Odell Rye; and his wife Brenda Batson Rye. He is survived by: his children, Robin Joyce Dunn (Rob) and Richard Fulton Rye (Marla); his great grandchildren, Benjamin Scott McCaslin and Charlotte Rose McCaslin; his sister Martha Nell Baggett (late Cecil Baggett); his sister-in-law Martha Dell Wall (Billy Dee); and his pets, Josey and Katie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
