He was predeceased by: his parent Vola Taylor; his son Bobby Taylor; his son-in-law Bill Matherly; and his siblings, Edna Headlee, Lefa Weller, Etta Marler, Ralp Taylor, Zella Olinger, Seburn Taylor, Harvey Taylor, Sue Capps, Bernice Taylor, Silas Taylor, Willard Taylor and Wendell Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Taylor; his children, Carmella Hammond (Jim), Velma Matherly, Kim Burnette (Ricky) and Rhonda Taylor; his daughter-in-law Virginia Taylor; his sister Betty Harris; his grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor (Sheila), Zach McCool (Kristina), Amanda Kyle (Jonathan), Mindy Stephens, Joshua Burnette (April), Alecia Gross (Russ), Ryan Hadley (Jasmin), Jennifer Wilcox (Mike) and Mark Hammond (Veronica); and his close friends, Jim, Becky and Jamie Eller. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins.
