With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Logan Ziegler Jr. of Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Logan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Logan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Logan Ziegler III and Virginia Graham Ziegler. He is survived by: his children, Jean Ziegler Russell (Carey) and Logan Ziegler (Kelley); his grandchildren, Taylor Robinson, Kelsey Graham (Connor), John Logan Ziegler VI, Elijah Watson and Jack Ziegler; and his siblings, Byron Ziegler and Janice Jolley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services (163 Arrants Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (1654 Shiloh Rd, Decatur, TN 37322).
