With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddy Charles Payne of Decherd, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jefferson Charles "J. C." and Emma Cornelia Payne (Brassfield); his wife Marilyn Wilson Payne; and his son-in-law Jimmy Burch. He is survived by : his children, David Payne (Cindy) of Decherd, Jackie Burch of Estill Springs, Connie Rogers (Clarence) of Manchester and Shawn Payne of Decherd; his grandchildren, Keith Payne (Kelly), Kassie Holley (Ryan), Kaitlyn Smith (Rhett), Kelly Payne, Ethan Burch, Lee Burch, Allen Morris (Erin), LaShawn Rogers (Charlie Johnson), Justin Rogers (Nikki), Aubrey Payne, Avery Payne and Ralphy Navas; his great grandchildren, Sekrit, Haddon, Houston, Rye, Emma, Corbin, Madelyn and C. J.; and his sisters, Cornelia Spencer (Ron) of Lynchburg, Diane Matlock (Larry) of Tullahoma and Gloria Doan (Glen) of Winchester.
