He was predeceased by : his father John Gilbert; his wife Susie Peck; his siblings, Mildred Peck, Mary Louise Talley, Billy D. and Bobby L. Peck; his children, Denise Hill and Sam Stevens; and his former life partner Dorothy Gamble.

He is survived by : his children, John C. Peck (Pam) of Winchester, Troy Stevens of Monteagle, Patty M. McNeil of Decherd, Jennifer Smiley (DK) of Chattanooga and Susan Burke (Joe) of Chattanooga; his brother Jerry Wayne Peck of Memphis; his grandchildren, Leanne Peck Lankford (Donnie), John Michael Peck (Misty), Jeffery McNeil (Jill) and Jonathon McNeil; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Layla, Lindsi and Lexi. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
